DAY 1: Crown and Bridge.  9.00 AM to  5.00 PM

An Introduction to Restorative Dentistry

Shade selection considerations

1.    Tooth Preparation for Single crown

2.    Tooth Preparations for FPD

Detailed discussion and considerations for the anterior aesthetic zone and the posterior zone.

 

3. Preparation modifications based on the Types of Restorations :

a. Full Metal Co-Cr

b. Precious Alloy

c. PFM

d. Full Contour Zirconia

e. Zirconia with Porcelain

f. Leucite

g. Lithium Disilicate.

 

4. Preparation modifications based on Finish Lines and margin placement considerations:

Chamfer, Modified Chamfer, Deep Chamfer, Radial Shoulder, 90 Degree Shoulder and Types of Burs.

 

5. Complete protocol from Pre-Op Impression: Rubber base and IOS, to making of planning and study casts both in dental stone and 3D printed.

Case planning, wax-up ( manual & digital ), silicone index, preparation, making of an instant temporary, gingival retraction, final impression, bite registration, cementation of provisional.

6. Lab prescription and lab procedures- communication to trial!

7. Luting and Bonding agents, post-cementation Instructions.

Alongside crown preparation demo and hands-on of 8 teeth.

 

 

DAY 2: Porcelain Veneers.  9  AM to 6 PM

A) Indications & Contraindications

B) Clinical Preparation Protocol based on different scenarios

C) Photo n Video Protocol, Smile Simulation & 2D Analysis using DSD APP,

Wax-Up 2D & 3D way, Silicone Index, Test Drive.

D) Preparation Conventional & through the test drive, Gingival Retraction, Final Impression, Temporarisation.

Bonding protocol for ceramics

Post-bonding instructions and Veneer care

Shade Taking by Vita 3D Master Linear Shade Guide.

Alongside Demo & Hands-on Preparation for Porcelain Veneers on Ten Teeth.

 

DAY 3: Bonded Restorations: The latest in Dentistry.  9  AM to 3.30 PM

Understanding BIOMIMETIC dentistry

Bonding protocols and preparation considerations

A) Types of Bonded Restorations -

Porcelain Veneers, Palatal Veneers, V-Shape Veneers, Onlays, Vonlays, Table Tops, Vtops, Chips, Fragments, Endo-Crowns, etc.

B) Demo & Hands-On of 12 types of Bonded Restorations on 12 teeth.

C) Demo of Bonding & Luting Protocol made easy. Instructions to patients.
