Dr. Anoop V. Nair is a renowned expert and trainer in both direct and indirect restorations. His expertise includes the use of composites, Bioclear techniques, Deep Margin Elevation (DME), as well as ceramic and composite indirect restorations such as inlays, onlays, crowns, bridges, and post and core procedures.

Course Overview

This immersive program blends comprehensive online learning with an intensive three-day hands-on training session. Participants will refine their skills through expert-led demonstrations and practical applications. During registration, attendees can select their preferred venue for the hands-on session, with convenient options in Kerala and Dubai to suit their schedule and location preferences

Online Modules and Hands-On Training

This comprehensive program integrates six online theoretical sessions with a three-day hands-on training workshop, providing participants with the skills and confidence to deliver advanced restorative and biomimetic dentistry. The course ensures participants are fully prepared, with online sessions scheduled to conclude  prior to the practical training. Hands-on training includes venue options with accommodation for Bangkok participants.

  • Live interactions with recordings available for review.

  • Online lectures-

  • Shade selection, Case selection for Veneers, Onlays, Full crowns

  • Porcelain Veneers- Case selection, Prep, technicalities, Temp, Follow up

  • Onlays and Supragingival Bonded restorations- Clinical knowhow

  • Anterior Composites- the Material, Layering, Finishing, Polishing

  • Full Crown Prep and partial bonded restorations- from luting to bonding

  • Isolation, Armamentarium, Magnification 

3 days Hands on (All lectures will be delivered online, prior to hands on workshop to ensure maximum clinical worktime)

 

Day 1

 

8 am- 8.30 am      Armamentarium Discussion for Veneers

 

8.30-10.30 am      Veneer Prep Demo and hands on

 

10.30-10.45 am                   Coffee break

 

10.45-1.30 pm      Prep hands on, Temporization, Bonding protocols

 

1.30- 2.30 pm                       Lunch break

 

2.30-4.30 pm        Bonding with isolation, Post Op care and follow up protocols for Veneers

 

 

Day 2

 

8 am - 9.30 am    Composite Veneers/ layering/ Polishing

 

9.30-10.30 am     Class III, IV restorations- Direct and Indirect techniques

 

10.30-10.45 am                          Coffee break

 

10.45-1.30 pm    Diastema closure, Cervical restorations

1.30 pm - 2.30 pm                 lunch break

 

2.30 pm - 4.30 pm             Class II restorations, DME, establishing Contacts and contours, Injection Moulding restorations, Deep caries management

 

Day 3

 

8 am – 9 am                Full crowns prep and Clinical Considerations

 

9 am- 11.30 am          Onlays, Overlays, Tabletops, Vonlays, Inlays- Demo/ Hands on

 

11.30-11.45 am                      Coffee break

 

11.45 am - 1.30 pm   Temporization, Bonding protocols for Onlays

IADFE Fellowship

For candidates who complete the Crown & Bridge, Porcelain Veneers, and Biomimetic Dentistry Workshop, the London Academy of Dentistry will nominate them for the Fellowship. Once the nomination is processed, candidates are required to pay a fee of $550 to IADFE

Fellowship Induction Ceremonies

  1. Annual Fellowship Induction in New York:
    The Cap and Gown Fellowship Ceremony is held during the Annual Fellowship Induction Meeting in New York, which takes place on the Monday night following Thanksgiving, in conjunction with the Greater New York Dental Meeting.

  2. Asia and Middle East Africa Region:
    The Cap and Gown Fellowship Ceremony will also be organized in Dubai, Bangalore, Colombo, and Bangkok, provided there is a sufficient number of candidates at each center.

  3. Alternative Arrangements:
    If the number of candidates at any one center is insufficient, participants will need to travel to the nearest city where the ceremony is being conducted.

These arrangements ensure flexibility and accessibility for all candidates to participate in this prestigious Fellowship induction.
