This immersive program blends comprehensive online learning with an intensive three-day hands-on training session. Participants will refine their skills through expert-led demonstrations and practical applications. This comprehensive program integrates six online theoretical sessions with a three-day hands-on training workshop, providing participants with the skills and confidence to deliver advanced restorative and biomimetic dentistry. The course ensures participants are fully prepared, with online sessions scheduled to conclude  prior to the practical training. Hands-on training includes venue options with accommodation for Bangkok participants.

Day 1: Aesthetic Dentistry and Core Preparations

9:00 – 10:00 AM: Shade Selection and Preoperative Techniques

  • Demonstration of shade matching for crowns, veneers, and restorations.

  • Learn preoperative impression-making with polyvinyl siloxane material, wax mock-ups, and silicone indices.

10:00 – 11:30 AM: Anterior Veneer and Crown Preparation

  • Practical session focusing on conservative preparation for porcelain veneers.

  • Techniques for anterior crown preparation using various materials.

11:30 AM – 1:00 PM: Temporization Techniques

  • Step-by-step guide to creating immediate composite temporaries.

  • Hands-on practice with gingival retraction and bite registration.

2:00 – 4:00 PM: Bonding and Cementation Protocols

  • Learn protocols for veneer bonding and cementation of immediate composite temporaries.

  • Explore clinical tips for long-term restoration success.

Day 2: Indirect Restorations and Advanced Crown Techniques

9:00 – 11:00 AM: Crown and Bridge Materials Demonstration

  • Explore full metal crowns, PFM, zirconia, lithium disilicate, and their applications.

  • Learn preparation protocols for posterior crowns, onlays, vonlays, and tabletop restorations.

11:15 AM – 1:00 PM: Hands-On: Posterior Crown Preparations

  • Hands-on session for posterior crown preparation techniques.

  • Practical application of Bioclear techniques and biomimetic materials.

2:00 – 4:00 PM: Comparative Techniques for Restorations

  • Learn how to choose between traditional crowns, onlays, and v-tops based on case requirements.

  • Engage in discussions and hands-on comparison of preparation methods.

Day 3: Biomimetic and Restorative Techniques

9:00 – 10:00 AM: Biomimetic Layering and restorative Materials

  • Introduction to biomimetic approaches in restorative dentistry.

  • Practical tips for using regenerative materials to mimic natural tooth properties.

10:15 AM – 12:00 PM: Porcelain Veneers: Preparation to Bonding

  • Master the preparation of teeth for porcelain laminate veneers.

  • Hands-on veneer bonding using advanced techniques.

1:00 – 3:00 PM: Final Impressions and Cementation

  • Demonstration and practice of final impressions and bite registrations.

  • Cementation protocols for crowns and bridges using zirconia and lithium disilicate.

IADFE Fellowship

For candidates who complete the Crown & Bridge, Porcelain Veneers, and Biomimetic Dentistry Workshop, the London Academy of Dentistry will nominate them for the Fellowship. Once the nomination is processed, candidates are required to pay a fee of $550 to IADFE

Fellowship Induction Ceremonies

  1. Annual Fellowship Induction in New York:
    The Cap and Gown Fellowship Ceremony is held during the Annual Fellowship Induction Meeting in New York, which takes place on the Monday night following Thanksgiving, in conjunction with the Greater New York Dental Meeting.

  2. Asia and Middle East Africa Region:
    The Cap and Gown Fellowship Ceremony will also be organized in Dubai, Bangalore, Colombo, and Bangkok, provided there is a sufficient number of candidates at each center.

  3. Alternative Arrangements:
    If the number of candidates at any one center is insufficient, participants will need to travel to the nearest city where the ceremony is being conducted.
